Post Doctoral Improves the Quality of FT UNS Lecturers******
SOLO —The quality of lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering (FT), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo is expected to increase by recruiting two post-doctoral fellows to teach at the local campus.
Two FT UNS lecturers have completed the Post Doctoral program namely Fitrian Imaduddin, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D and Ofita Purwani, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.

Fitrian Imaduddin attended the Post Doctoral program at the Islamic University of Medina from April 1, 2022 to December 31 2022 with funding from the Islamic University of Medina Urban Studies Foundation.
Meanwhile, Ofita Purwani took part in the Post Doctoral program at the National University of Singapore (NUS) for nine months, from 13 December 2021 to 12 September 2022 with funding from the Urban Studies Foundation.
The program of activities is intended to improve teaching staff quality and support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities and Higher Education Service Institutions within the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Berdasarkan rilis yang diterima Nanang berhasil mempertahankan disertasinya di hadapan dewan penguji yang diketuai oleh Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. dengan judul Rekonstruksi Hukum Pembentukan Holding Badan Usaha Milik Negara Pangan untuk Meningkatkan Ketahanan Pangan.

Ujian terbuka promosi doktor digelar di Aula FH UNS, Kamis (26/1/2023).
Di hadapan Tim Penguji dan Promotor, Nanang menyampaikan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) adalah alat kelengkapan negara yang dibentuk untuk mewujudkan tujuan negara sebagaimana tertuang di dalam alenia IV Pembukaan UUD 1945.
Menurutnya, kondisi BUMN pada umumnya tidak ideal sebagai badan usaha, kebanyakan BUMN tidak mampu memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap keuangan negara.
Di sisi yang lain, BUMN diharapkan lebih banyak berperan dalam program-program Pemerintah yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat. Jumlah BUMN di Indonesia pada akhir tahun 2018 mencapai 143 perusahaan.
Namun dari 143 BUMN, hanya ada 20 BUMN yang mampu berkontribusi menghasilkan 90% dari total pendapatan seluruh BUMN. Sampai dengan bulan Juni 2022, terdapat 91 BUMN di Indonesia (79 Persero dan 12 Perum) yang tersebar di 12 sektor Industri dengan total nilai Kekayaan Negara Dipisahkan yang diinvestasikan kepada BUMN sebesar Rp2.469 triliun sampai dengan tahun 2021.
Diperlukan restrukturisasi BUMN agar peran BUMN menjadi lebih optimal. Salah satu strategi restrukturisasi adalah pembentukan holding company BUMN, yang merupakan suatu inisiatif value creation. Potensi holding BUMN sangat besar.
Berdasarkan laporan kinerja BUMN tahun 2020 untuk total aset BUMN mencapai Rp8.400 triliun sehingga jumlah itu lebih besar dari aset milik pemerintah dan total pendapatan BUMN Rp2.400 triliun, yang berarti hampir sama dengan pendapatan pemerintah.
Dalam Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Pusat (LKPP) 2019, Kementerian Keuangan mencatat bahwa pendapatan bagian laba BUMN Perbankan sebesar Rp18,595 triliun dan BUMN Non Perbankan Rp32,038 triliun.
Kementerian BUMN telah berkontribusi memberikan dividen senilai Rp388 triliun sedangkan PNM yang digelontorkan pemerintah senilai Rp148 triliun.
Kontribusi dividen BUMN 2011-2020 tersebut lebih besar daripada PNM yang diberikan, yaitu lebih besar 2,5 kali.
Selama 10 tahun terakhir, kontribusi pajak dari perusahaan BUMN senilai Rp1.864 triliun dan PNBP sebesar Rp1.030 triliun. Jika dijumlahkan, total kontribusi penerimaan negara dari BUMN baik dari dividen, PNBP, dan pajak adalah senilai Rp3.282 triliun.
Dalam mewujudkan kedaulatan pangan, kemandirian pangan, dan ketahanan pangan, pemerintah melalui BUMN sesuai dengan bidang tugasnya dapat berperan serta melalui pelaksanaan produksi, distribusi, perdagangan, konsumsi pangan, penyelenggaraan cadangan pangan masyarakat, pencegahan dan penanggulangan rawan pangan dan gizi, penyampaian informasi pangan dan gizi, keterjangkauan pangan, penganekaragaman pangan, keamanan pangan, dan/atau peningkatan kemandirian pangan rumah tangga. BUMN juga memastikan kualitas konsumsi pangan masyarakat.
“Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan penjelasan tentang urgensi rekonstruksi hukum dalam pembentukan holding BUMN pangan dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Lalu juga untuk menganalisis rekonstruksi hukum dalam pembentukan holding BUMN pangan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan,” terang Nanang.
Sementara itu, Ketua Penguji dan Promotor, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, mengucapkan selamat kepada promovendus karena telah melaksanakan ujian terbuka dengan lancar.
“Saudara lulus dengan predikat cumlaude, dengan IPK 3,80, lama studi tiga tahun enam bulan. Doktor Nanang ini merupakan lulusan doktor ke-901 UNS dan ke-193 FH UNS,” ujar Prof. Jamal.
Mewakili seluruh tim penguji dan promotor, Prof. Jamal mengucapkan terima kasih kepada tamu undangan yang hadir.
“Terima kasih kepada Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Bapak Ganjar Pranowo serta bupati dan wakil bupati yang hadir dalam sidang terbuka ini. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Doktor Nanang dikenal oleh banyak kalangan,” ujar Prof. Jamal.

SOLO —Center of excellence for electrical energy storage technology (CoE-EEST) or Pusat Unggulan Ipteks Teknologi Penyimpanan Energi Listrik (abbreviated with PUI TPEL) Universitas Sebelas Maret in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering and Techno-Economics Research Group or Grup Riset Rekayasa Industri and Tekno Ekonomi (abbreviated with RITE) from the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret.

Originality can be achieved through the study design, the nature or outcomes of the knowledge synthesis, or the implications for research and/or practice. 4. production of battery packs/electric vehicle battery swaps and energy storage systems (ESS), and
5. electric bicycle assembly/ conversion motorcycle.
In addition, CoE-FEEST UNS has also been supported by battery testing, monitoring system, safety and communication facilities that can serve the public, and has 3 technology-based start-ups for downstream simulation and commercialization, namely:

Through this workshop, CoE-FEEST UNS and RG RITE PSTI FT-UNS offered doctoral program research opportunities to lecturers and research collaborators at the national and international levels to take a role in the research focus “Industrial Engineering and Techno-Economic Studies on Energy Storage Technology and Electric Vehicle Applications”.
There are seven Ph.D research projects currently being carried out to provide “Contributions to new knowledge on early supply chain engineering integration into the technology commercialization process”, namely:
1. Developing a model of technological-based interoperability for EMSB;
2. Developing a product-consumer adoption model to find a thriving solution for EM;
3. Developing a model to predict the hybrid-market competition of EMSB
4. Developing a prediction of supply chain vulnerability to enhance the business competitiveness of EMSB
5. Developing a circular supply chain model for battery recycling
6. Developing a circular business model from a circular supply chain model of battery recycling
7. Developing an ontology framework for interoperability-business of circular supply chain
“The study of Industrial Engineering Sciences through an interdisciplinary approach will continue to be carried out to gain contributions to new knowledge on Early Supply Chain Engineering Integration into the Technology Commercialization Process and to improve the productivity and efficiency of the Commercialization of Innovation Technology,” said Wahyudi Sutopo as Head of Industrial Relations and Commercialization Div., CoE for Electrical Energy Storage Technology and as head of RG RITE PSTI FT-UNS.
