Panitia Pemilihan Anggota MWA UNS Solo Terbentuk, Ini Daftarnya******
SOLO—Penataan kelembagaan internal Universitas Sebelas Maret atau UNS Solo terus berjalan. Terbaru Senat Akademik (SA) UNS melakukan pembentukan Panitia Pemilihan Anggota Majelis Wali Amanat atau PPA MWA 2024-2029.
Sekretaris SA UNS Solo, Mohammad Jamin,mengatakan pembentukan PPA MWA juga merupakan tindak lanjut dari terbitnya Peraturan MWA UNS No. 1/2023 tentang Tata Cara Pengangkatan dan Pemberhentian Anggota MWA yang terbit dan disosialisasikan pada 8 Januari 2024 lalu.

Pembentukan PPA MWA didasarkan atas Surat Keputusan Senat Akademik (SA) UNS No. 20/UN.27.SA/TP.01/2024. Unsur keanggotaan PPA MWA terdiri atas pengarah yakni Rektor dan Ketua Dewan Profesor UNS, Ketua yang dijabat oleh ex-officio Ketua SA, dan 12 orang anggota SA yang mewakili masing-masing Fakultas dan Sekolah.
Jamin menjelaskan terkait jadwal pemilihan calon anggota MWA belum bisa dipublikasikan lantaran saat ini masih diproses. Dia mengatakan perlu ada sinkronisasi dengan jadwal kegiatan yang ada di UNS.
“Nanti untuk waktunya kami uploaddi websiteyang segera kami launchingsehingga untuk timelinemasih dilakukan finalisasi,” kata dia.
Tugas utama PPA MWA UNS adalah membentuk keanggotaan MWA baru, setelah organ internal itu dibekukan oleh Mendikbudristek pada Maret 2023 lalu. Pembekuan itu diputuskan melalui Peraturan Mendikbudristek No. 24/2023 tentang Penataan Peraturan Internal dan Organ di Lingkungan UNS.
“Yang perlu kami sampaikan, dalam proses pemilihan kami berharap bisa mendapatkan bakal calon yang semakin banyak semakin baik, supaya lebih kompetitif. Panitia akan bekerja sesuai peraturan normatif. Sehingga harapannya bisa memberikan anggota mwa yang kredibel,” kata dia.
Dia mengatakan peraturan normatif yang dijalankan oleh PPA MWA sudah sangat ketat untuk mengantisipasi kecurangan atau adanya kepentingan dari kelompok tertentu. Jamin menambahkan yang menjadi panitia pemilihan secara otomatis kehilangan hak untuk menjadi anggota MWA yang baru.
“Jadi kami ini semua adalah orang yang berkorban karena ada kemungkinan kami terpilih [menjadi anggota MWA]. Maka Insyaallah akan menghasilkan MWA yang diinginkan, dan PPA MWA tidak ada interest tertentu kecuali untuk kepentingan UNS,” kata dia.
Jamin juga menegaskan tugas panitia akan selesai setelah anggota MWA yang baru terpilih. Setelah itu MWA bakal menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya. Salah satu tugas yang paling mendesak adalah melaksanakan pemilihan rektor definitif.
“Kami hanya mengantarkan sampai terbentuknya MWA,” kata dia.
Mengutip laman resmi UNS Solo, MWA adalah badan tertinggi di universitas yang mewakili kepentingan pemerintah, kepentingan masyarakat, dan kepentingan universitas itu sendiri.
MWA memiliki fungsi untuk menyusun, merumuskan dan menetapkan kebijakan universitas. Selain itu, terdapat fungsi pengawasan terkait kebijakan universitas di bidang nonakademik.
Anggota MWA harus terdiri atas 17 (tujuh belas) orang, yakni Menteri, Rektor UNS, Ketua SA, wakil masyarakat (4 orang), wakil anggota SA (7 orang). wakil tenaga pendidik (1 orang) dan Wakil mahasiswa (1 orang).

Firstly, Prof. Dr. Lar. Ismail Bin Said who is an Adjunct Professor in the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNS. He is from the Landscape Architecture Program Faculty of Build Environment and Surveying, University Technology Malaysia. Then, Prof. Dr. ing. Hendro Wicaksono with Adjunct Professor status in the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNS. He comes from Jacob University Bremen, Germany.
“While Doctor Fellows in the Faculty of Engineering is Dr. Lee Yoke Lai. He is a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNS, and comes from the Landscape Architecture Program, Faculty of Build Environment and Surveying, University Technology Malaysia. Then there’s Dr. Ariva Sugandi Permana, M.Sc., Ph.D. He is a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UNS who comes from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Landrabang (KMITL) Thailand,” explained the person in charge of the program, Prof. Dr. Wahyudi Sutopo, S.T., M.Si, when met by Solopos at his office recently.
Wahyudi Sutopo, who is also Deputy Dean of Human Resources, Finance and Logistics, FT UNS, explained that the benefits of the program include increasing international cooperation networks between FT UNS and other universities abroad; improving the competence of lecturers and students at FT UNS through the transfer of knowledge and information from outsiders; as well as supporting the achievement of Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities and Higher Education Service Institutions within the Ministry of Education and Culture in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 754/P/2020 (IKU 6: Higher Education cooperates with other tertiary institutions abroad).
“This activity is funded by the 2021/2022 UNS Creative Leap Fund and is covered by a Contract Agreement between the person concerned and the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering,” he explained.
While participating in industrial internships, Adjunct Professor/Post Doctoral Fellow participants are obliged, among other things, to teach at a designated Study Program at FT UNS with a minimum of 6 credits for a Post Doctoral Fellow and a minimum of 4 credits for an Adjunct Professor.
They must also conduct joint research with lecturers in the designated Study Program at least one publication in a reputable international journal. Then support the strengthening of management in the designated program through various supporting activities such as workshops or other activities for the preparation and implementation of international accreditation, development of the Capstone Design teaching and learning system, internships, final project/thesis, and development of international journals.
“Last but not least is facilitating or inviting lecturers from the FT UNS to be involved in activities at the higher education institutions from which the Adjunct Professor/Post Doctoral Fellow participants originate, such as studium general, team teaching, knowledge sharing, joint Supervision and so on,” added Wahyudi.

Two FT UNS lecturers have completed the Post Doctoral program namely Fitrian Imaduddin, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D and Ofita Purwani, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.

Fitrian Imaduddin attended the Post Doctoral program at the Islamic University of Medina from April 1, 2022 to December 31 2022 with funding from the Islamic University of Medina Urban Studies Foundation.
Meanwhile, Ofita Purwani took part in the Post Doctoral program at the National University of Singapore (NUS) for nine months, from 13 December 2021 to 12 September 2022 with funding from the Urban Studies Foundation.
The program of activities is intended to improve teaching staff quality and support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities and Higher Education Service Institutions within the Ministry of Education and Culture.
“This activity is covered by a contractual agreement between the person who concerned and the university leadership,” said the Dean of Engineering Faculty UNS, Dr. techn. Sholihin As’ad, M.T., to Solopos recently.
The program’s director, Prof. Dr. Wahyudi Sutopo, S.T., M.Si, explained during the post-doctoral activity, the two lecturers were obliged to submit daily duties to direct or otherwise designated superior officers; reporting to representatives of the republic of Indonesia in the country where post-doctoral activities are carried out; Report the address of the institution and residence to the work unit leader, reporting the change of residence address to the working unit leader.
